About
During law school, Carter participated in Mock Trial, interned with the Civil Division of the Polk County Attorney’s Office, the State Public Defender’s Office, and was a student attorney in the Criminal Defense Clinic. Carter interned with Branstad and Olson Law Office at the beginning of his law school career and has rejoined the team as an attorney after passing the Iowa Bar.
Carter received his Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice Studies from Iowa State University in 2020 and his Juris Doctorate from Drake University Law School in 2024.
Outside of work, Carter enjoys watching and playing sports, spending time with friends and family, and taking the occasional nap.
